
Alison grew up in London where she studied and worked before traveling the world and moving to Auckland in 2013. Alison was awarded BA(hons) Interior & Spatial Design from the world-renowned Chelsea College of Art & Design (UAL), London where she was taught by former architects of Zaha Hadid and Foster & Associates. Later Alison furthered her studies at the prestigious KLC School of Design, where she received the 'Highly Commended' award by globally recognised Candy & Candy.
Following qualifying Alison worked for Fox Interior Design (London), on high end residential and commercial projects including grade one listed buildings. In New Zealand Alison joined Trinity Interior Design in Auckland, where she became the lead Spatial Design Consultant for the Auckland based Interiors team on the Helena Bay Project. Alison has since worked on a variety of developments, residential and commercial fit outs, including designing and project managing fit-outs for Pagani's new concept stores. Alison continues to design retail spaces as well as now designing playful childcare centre fit-outs for New Shoots.
Alison's design focus is on the journey through space, the flow of space between the interior and exterior environments, the functionality of space, and the combination of elements that make up the interior. Alison's strong attention to detail and ability to communicate ideas visually and professionally has enabled her to work closely and successfully with clients. consultants, and contractors to achieve outstanding design solutions to the highest quality finish.
